Is cargo covered under my motor policy?

No. The motor policy covers the vehicle and third-party liability. Cargo requires a separate Goods in Transit (GIT) policy. We typically arrange both together.

Can I cover a fleet under a single policy?

Yes. From 5 vehicles upward, fleet pricing is usually more competitive than individual policies. You also get shared limits, one renewal date, and dedicated claims handling.

Are cross-border trips covered?

Standard Kenyan policies cover Kenya only. For COMESA region trips (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, DRC, etc.), you need a Yellow Card extension. We arrange these per trip or annually for regular corridor operators.

How does the insurer rate my premium?

Vehicle value, age, tonnage, body type, route, driver experience, claims history, and security devices (GPS tracking, immobilisers) all affect the premium. Tracked vehicles typically attract meaningful discounts.
